What Sets Us Apart
The Beauty for Ashes program was designed to provide assistance to individuals who have experienced trauma and its lingering consequences, which may result from domestic violence, serious accidents, or childhood abuse. Acknowledging the diverse manifestations of trauma, it is recognized that each situation is unique, yet they all share a common element - pain. The Beauty for Ashes staff is dedicated to helping survivors overcome the aftermath of trauma through a comprehensive approach that incorporates education, mentorship, group therapy, and essential resources.
Meet the Founder
Istasia Pierre
Istasia Pierre is a Miami, Florida-born and raised native, who is a dedicated wife, mother, and woman of faith. God is the driving force behind her actions and the guiding principle of her life. As a seasoned cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience, Istasia's expertise in hairstyling and makeup artistry is unmatched. However, her true passion lies in making a positive impact through her nonprofit organization, The Beaute for Ashes. Istasia's personal experiences with trauma, as well as those of her team, have fueled her desire to provide support to others navigating similar challenges. Her career spans multiple fields, including life coaching, motivational speaking, writing, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, hairstyling, makeup artistry, and styling.
How will the donation will be used?
The Beaute for Ashes Foundation will utilize donated funds to provide survivors with critical resources, enabling them to successfully reenter societal life.
